A little Q&A with Salisbury Senior Anna Bitar
What is your full name?
Anna Bitar
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy playing tennis, hanging out with friends, and listening to music.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends might describe me as motivated and outgoing.
What is your favorite subject?
I enjoy a few different subjects, but my favorite is Anatomy.
Who is your favorite teacher?
I’ve had a wonderful experience with my teachers throughout high school. I’ve learned a great amount of valuable information from Mr. Wetherhold and really enjoyed his classes. I feel as though Mrs. Wilson’s teaching style has helped me absorb information well and her classes have prepared me for the direction I’m headed in the future. Mr. Hahn has always been such a wonderful resource and comforting outlet at all times.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movies are Interstellar and probably any Adam Sandler movie.
Are you involved in any community service projects?
Throughout high school, I’ve been a part of a club called G.I.V.E. (Get Involved, Value Everyone) where there are many opportunities to help those in need. I’ve volunteered at New Bethany church at an event that provided meals to the homeless. We packaged and delivered surprise Christmas gifts to kids at the same church. I had the opportunity to help organize, package, and deliver boxes of needed supplies to Third Street Alliance for Women and Children in Easton.
Who is your role model and why?
My role models are my parents. They have guided me and helped me understand what life is about. My parents are my biggest motivation and they give me strength in difficult situations.
What’s next after graduation?
After graduation, I’m planning on either attending Widener University or Duquesne University as a nursing major.

A little Q&A with Salisbury Senior Michael Judge
What is your full name?
Michael Judge
What are your hobbies?
Either catching up on the latest Netflix release, or traveling somewhere with my friends. I’m also into music, cinematography, and other art media!
If you have pets, list what kind and names.
I have a Chiweenie puppy named Devin and a baby kitten named Sage.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would probably describe me as fun, ambitious, and always down for whatever situation gets thrown in my direction. I always try to embrace life head-on and be the positive energy in my surrounding community.
What is your favorite subject?
I think my favorite class throughout high school had to have been media management with Mr. Wetherhold, where I was first exposed to video creation and editing. That really pushed me to enter some later film festivals and earn awards, as well as further develop my skills to use for volunteer projects. I hope I can continue that trend throughout my career in some way.
Who is your favorite teacher?
I would have to say my favorite teacher this year is either Mrs. Kennedy or Mrs. Schneider. All the teachers at SHS deserve awards and accolades, but TK, as we lovingly call her, with her admirable easy going and wonderfully over-the-top personality, as well as Schneider, with her assistance in helping me further develop my academic introspection and her continual energetic devotion to her students, both define what it means to be an amazing teacher.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie currently is Coco. I always need a box of tissues watching that one…
Are you involved in any community service projects?
I am! I’m an Eagle Scout, as well as being in countless volunteer clubs and organizations throughout my high school career as both a student and a member of my community.
Who is your role model and why?
If I had to pick just one, it would be a perfect mashup of Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Coolidge. Both women have achieved outstanding reputations within pop culture, and have worked their rear ends off to garner esteem and recognition within various industries, spanning from entertainment, community service, modeling, culinary arts, being social icons, etc. I hope to one day acquire both the history and recognition that these two women have.
What’s next after graduation?
After a few exotic travels during the summer months, I plan on attending Temple University to pursue my bachelor’s degree in nursing. I hope to continue my education at a graduate level when the time comes, but for now, I’m looking forward to becoming an Honors Owl this August!

What is your full name?
Caroline Kenyon
What are your hobbies?
I love playing soccer, running, and doing any kind of puzzle like jigsaws or sudoku.
If you have pets, list what kind and names.
I have three dogs: Java, Finn, and Toby.
How would your friends describe you?
I think my friends would describe me as caring and responsible.
What is your favorite subject?
My favorite subject is chemistry, but I have really enjoyed all of my history classes at Salisbury. I have had some of my favorite memories in those classes, and learning history really opened my eyes to the world and a subject I never enjoyed before high school.
Who is your favorite teacher?
Picking a favorite teacher is nearly impossible. I love Mrs. Neumann because I have had the pleasure of taking six classes with her throughout high school, Mr. Barna has taught me to love history and challenged me beyond belief, and Mrs. Basile is always someone I can go to for help.
What is your favorite movie?
Some of my favorite movies include Shutter Island and the Big Sick.
Are you involved in any community service projects?
Throughout high school I volunteered at the Kindness Project, a non-profit organization designed to support and supply foster families with basic necessities.
Who is your role model and why?
My role model is Megan Rapinoe. She is such a strong athlete, woman, and powerful advocate for equal rights.
What’s next after graduation?
I will be attending the University of Virginia. I am undecided on my major, but I am considering chemistry on the pre-med track.
