This year’s Annual Dodgeball Tournament, held by SGA, will be taking place on Monday, March 16 starting at 6pm in the SHS Main Gym. Teams are consisted of 8 players total, including one “coach” (adult/teacher representative) and at least 3 females. It is $40 per team to enter (roughly $5 per player). Tickets will be sold to spectators: $3 in advance, $5 at the door. There will be a refreshment stand along with some outside groups involved (WFMZ, fire department, senior parent team, etc.). We are opening the tournament up to outside community groups, so if you know of a group that would be interested, please let SGA advisor Mr. Hahn know! If you are interested in participating or buying a ticket, please see Mr. Hahn at the SHS School Store or in Room 107. Sign-up forms are located on the door of 107. Any questions or if you would like forms emailed to you, please email Mr. Hahn at jhahn@salisburysd.org. Sign-up forms are due to Mr. Hahn no later than Friday, 3/6. As part of our commitment to Social-Emotional Learning this year our teachers are being trained in recognizing and responding to Adverse Childhood Events (ACE) through trauma informed care of students and self-care. The training was provided in 2 parts (January and last Friday) by the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit.
