A little Q&A with Salisbury Senior Nathan D’Alessandro What is your full name? My full name is Nathan David D'Alessandro. What are your hobbies? In my spare time I like to go on long bike rides with my family. In the summer I spend my days swimming in our pool. I love hanging out with my family and walking my dog. If you have pets, list what kind and names. I have a five year-old black pug named Batman. How would your friends describe you? I think my friends would describe me as funny, polite and respectful. What is your favorite subject? My favorite subject is math. Who is your favorite teacher? I have a few favorite teachers. Ms. Evener is my very favorite teacher! She is funny and always makes class fun. She helps me to be independent, respectful, to do my best work, and helps get me ready to go out into the real world after graduation. Another one of my favorite teachers is Mrs. Borthwick. She's also funny and has taught me how to cook, how to sew, and how to fold a lot of clothes! Another one of my favorite teachers is Mr. Linsenbigler. He taught me about photography and how to take really creative pictures. What is your favorite movie? I don't really have a favorite movie. I do like to watch "North Woods Law" on TV with my family though. It's a reality show about Game Wardens in New Hampshire and what they do to take care of animals and nature throughout the state. Since we go to New Hampshire on vacation every summer, I know most of the places that the show talks about. Are you involved in any community service projects? When I took textiles class with Mrs. Borthwick, I sewed bears to donate to the Salisbury Township Police Department. Also, my family always donates food and clothing to people in need. Who is your role model and why? My sister Paige is my role model. She works really hard in school and she is the nicest person I know. What’s next after graduation? I will graduate with my class this June, but I will still be attending SHS next year to continue the Work- Based Learning Program. The following year, I will be applying for the one year VIP Program with the CLIU21. Then my last year, I want to apply for the Project Search Program which will give me another year to explore job options. I will officially graduate from SHS when I am 21 years old. At that time, I hope to have a full time job doing something that I enjoy. #yoursalisbury
