Congratulations to SHS 2003 graduate Brian Giordano for competing in the Special Olympics PA Eastern Bowling Sectional Sunday afternoon at Hampton Lanes in Northampton. Brian placed 2nd in his division with a 3-game series of 474 that featured a high game of 180!

In order to play a spring sport, students must have a physical dated on or after June 1, 2019.
Spring physical paperwork and recertification paperwork for fall/winter athletes/team managers will be available beginning on 2/3/20 at SMS/SHS.
If you participated in a fall/winter sport or were a fall/winter team manager, you do not need a new physical, however, you do need to complete a Recertification form to participate in a spring sport. Note, if injured in a previous season, you must be released by your treating doctor

A PHYSICAL CANNOT BE GIVEN WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF A PARENT OR GUARDIAN, REGARDLESS OF STUDENT AGE. PLEASE SIGN THE PARENTAL CONSENT SECTION SO THAT YOUR CHILD MAY RECEIVE A PHYSICAL ON FEB. 13.
IF YOUR CHILD RECEIVES AN ATHLETIC PHYSICAL FROM YOUR FAMILY PHYSICIAN OR ANOTHER APPROVED MEDICAL PROVIDER, THE PIAA PHYSICAL FORM MUST BE USED AND THE SALISBURY PACKET MUST BE COMPLETED. REMINDER, THE PHYSICAL FORM MUST BE DATED ON OR AFTER JUNE 1, 2019.
