What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are cheerleading and hanging out with my friends.

I have two dogs named Sonny and Mocha.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would describe me as funny and nice.
What is your favorite subject?
My favorite subject is Anatomy because it’s so interesting to learn about how the human body functions.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher is Mr. Barna because he’s able to make learning fun and memorable.
What is your favorite Salisbury memory?
My favorite Salisbury memory is the last football game of this season because it was such a sentimental moment to cheer for the last time after having done it since elementary school.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is The Miracle Season.
Are you involved in any community service projects?
I’m not involved in any community service projects, but I am a part of NHS and Key Club, both of which allow me to involve myself with different community service events.
Who is your role model and why?
My role model is my mom because she’s super hard working and never gives up.
What’s next after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to attend a four-year university and later go on to a graduate program that will allow me to become a physician assistant.

A little Q&A with Salisbury Senior Hali Prisaznik
What is your full name?
Hali Prisaznik
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies include spending time with friends and family and taking my dogs for walks in the park. I also love dancing and cheerleading. This year is my 12th year of dance and 11th year of cheerleading.
Do you have any pets?
I have a yellow lab named Marnie and a golden retriever named Miley.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would describe me as hard working and a good friend.
What is your favorite subject?
I wouldn’t necessarily say I have a favorite subject, but I have enjoyed taking Honors Anatomy and Honors English.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher is Mr. Wetherhold because he has taken a different approach with teaching and definitely changed my outlook on school like no other teacher could. Mr. Wetherhold has been a great teacher and taught me that life wouldn’t be a challenge without taking a little risk.
What is your favorite sports memory?
My favorite sports memory was cheering at the Eastern Conference game against Jim Thorpe. This was our most spirited and energetic game and I was glad I could spend a memorable last game with my team.
Are you involved in any community service projects?
I have been involved in a few community service projects, but one I enjoyed the most was helping out at the Salisbury Twirling competitions.
Who is your role model and why?
Both of my parents will always be my biggest role models. They have taught me to be the caring, hardworking and conscientious person I am today.
What’s next after graduation?
After graduation, I plan on attending Northampton Community College for its Dental Hygiene program.

Jessica Nguyen
What are your hobbies?
I don’t particularly have any hobbies, but I do want to learn how to embroider and sew my own clothes. :)
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would describe me as kind hearted, fun, energetic, hard working, friendly and spunky.
What is your favorite subject?
Anatomy was my favorite subject because I really enjoyed the concepts and the dissections.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher is Mrs. Wilson because she helps me out when I need it. I also enjoy her classes and the stories she tells. Not only that, but she is a very kind person and I love her energy.
What is your favorite Salisbury memory?
My favorite Salisbury memory was joining crew. I was able to make many new friends, and experience many new things while helping out with the plays/musicals.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is Big Hero 6 because I LOVE Baymax.
Who is your role model and why?
My role model is my mom because she is a hardworking woman, who did her best to raise us well. But she is also very energetic and still has a youthful aura around her, even as she ages, so I aspire to maintain my child-like energy just like her.
What’s next after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to major in Biology at Temple University.

Paige Mathieu
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy dancing, which I have been doing for 15 years at the Muhlenberg Community Dance Center, reading, playing with my dog, and writing for the Salisbury Press.
Do you have any pets?
I have one mini Goldendoodle named Cheddar.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would describe me as friendly and empathetic.
What is your favorite subject?
My favorite subject is English. I love the opportunity to analyze literary works and write essays.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher is Ms. Infantino. I love the way she teaches our AP literature class, trying to get us to think on a deeper level about a text and to understand the meaning behind the symbolism within a literary work.
What is your favorite Salisbury memory?
My favorite Salisbury memory was just getting to spend lunches laughing with my friends.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is You’ve Got Mail.
Are you involved in any community service projects?
I volunteer at my church as a Sunday school teacher, scripture reader, and assistant minister. I also had the opportunity to help build disability access in the rural town of Starks, Maine with my church’s Project Help mission team.
Who is your role model and why?
My role model would be my grandmother. She was kind to everyone she met and was deeply rooted in her faith. I aspire to be like her.
What’s next after graduation?
After graduation I am planning on attending a 4 year college, although I have not officially chosen one yet. I plan to study English with a concentration in creative writing.
