STSD will provide grab-n-go breakfast and lunch meals for all community members 18 years old and younger during the school closure. These meals are FREE and can be found at HST and SMS on Mondays and Thursdays starting Monday, April 27th. Mondays pickup will include breakfast and lunch for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday breakfast. Thursday pickup will include Thursday lunch, breakfast and lunch for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday breakfast.

Mr. Frick, we have a lot in common when it comes to music collections and I can talk to him about anything.

My favorite memories here are the sports I participated in, wrestling in particular.

Are you involved in any community service projects?
Although I am not a member of Key Club, I do help with the club sometimes.

My uncle, he helped me figure out a lot concerning what I am doing in the future.
What’s next after graduation?
I am going to be an airplane mechanic in the U.S. Air Force.

While you should always take precaution while venturing out, please know we are following every safety protocol and best practices for social distancing at each meal site.
With curbside pickup: pull up to designated location, hand signal how many meals are needed, staff will place the number of meals requested on a table and step back,
you may exit your vehicle and grab your meals.

What is your full name?
Mitchell G. Wood
What are your hobbies?
I like to be with my friends as much as possible outside of school. I also enjoy going to the beach and walking my dog.
Do you have any pets?
I have a Black Lab mix named Savannah and a German Shepard named Maggie.
How would your friends describe you?
Loyal, stubborn, and very blunt
What is your favorite subject?
My favorite subject has to be Biology because it incorporates a lot of other respected divisions like environmental sciences, anatomy/physiology, etc.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Wilson as she has prepared me for collegiate Biology courses. She pushes all of her students to be the best they can be and I admire that about her.
What is your favorite Salisbury memory?
My favorite Salisbury memory would have to be the many opportunities I have been given over the years from going to the Anti-Defamation League conference my sophomore year to going to the Mütter Museum for AP Biology.
What is your favorite movie?
I have way too many favorites to choose one but I do like any horror movie.
Are you involved in any community service projects?
I am a member of NHS which allowed me the privilege to volunteer for Brindle Buddies where I walked dogs, cleaned cages, and helped dogs find new homes. I also frequently donate blood at the local blood donation centers and the school run blood drives.
Who is your role model and why?
My role model would have to be my sister as she is an EMT for St. Lukes Hospital. She pushes me to be better everyday and really has helped me grow as a student and person overall.
What’s next after graduation?
I am attending Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD. I was accepted in their Honors Program for Secondary Education Biology track with a minor in Spanish.
