A little Q&A with Salisbury Senior Timmy Buda What is your full name? Timothy Joel Buda What is your spring sport? Track and Field What are your hobbies? Playing video games, disc golfing and hanging out with my friends. Do you have any pets? I have three dogs Cooper, Teddy and Daisy How would your friends describe you? Funny, dependable, stubborn, athletic What is your favorite subject? Falcon Period Who is your favorite teacher and why? Mrs. Basile or Miss DosSantos because they care about their students and during my high school career I felt I could go to them for anything. What is your favorite sports memory? Winning Against Notre Dame this year in football, or earning a district medal all 3 years I ran track. What is your favorite movie? Empire Strikes Back Are you involved in any community service projects? I did numerous community service projects for Heart of A Champion including volunteering with kids at Camp Smile, or reading to students at Harry S. Truman. Through football I was able to better connect to the Salisbury community and will always cherish the service projects we’ve done as a team. Who is your role model and why? My role model is my grandfather because he is the most kind-hearted person I’ve met in my life, which is something I need to work on more. What’s next after graduation? If I could guess, kind, caring, nice, funny, willing to do anything for my friends. What is your favorite subject? Music, Art or Multimedia Who is your favorite teacher and why? Ms. Reinecke or Mrs. Burns (I don’t think Mr. Muschlitz counts). They gave me a safe place and never gave up on me. They saw the woman I am today even with all the problems and my disabilities.They believed in me that I can make the world and those halls a better place, that I could make others smile. What is your favorite Salisbury memory? When Mr. Muschlitz came to me when I was having a rough time and put a jolly rancher in front of me and said “Jolly Ranchers make everything better. It’ll be ok Emily.” What is your favorite movie? Back to the Future Are you involved in any community service projects? I coach kids in Allentown for twirling, I did Girls Scouts, and I help out with the Allentown Fair Queen. Who is your role model and why? Danny Kaye: Danny Kaye was a multi talented comedian who appeared in movies such as White Christmas, The Court Jester and The Inspector General. He went through so much and still made people smile more than anyone though. He saw the light in the darkness. He stood up for what was right. What’s next after graduation? What is your favorite Salisbury memory? My favorite Salisbury memory was playing field hockey. A little Q&A with Salisbury Senior Melissa Do What is your full name? Melissa Do What are your hobbies? I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, but I also enjoy just staying at home and binging tv shows. Do you have any pets? I have a blue veiltail betta fish; his name is James Pond. How would your friends describe you? My friends would describe me as caring, outgoing, and confident. What is your favorite subject? My favorite subject is math. Who is your favorite teacher and why? It was a tough decision, but my favorite teacher has to be Mr. Pearce. I had him as a teacher for three years of high school, and I really like and appreciate his teaching style. He is very easy to talk to and will try to help students out in any way he can. Mr. Pearce is the reason I decided to major in accounting. What is your favorite Salisbury memory? My favorite Salisbury memory was this year’s homecoming week. I got to be on the homecoming court, so I had a lot of fun with that. It allowed me to get really close to other members of the court, so it was exciting going all out for spirit week with them. I had the honor of becoming homecoming queen, and it was overall a fun and memorable experience. What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is Meet the Robinsons because it taught me to “keep moving forward.” Things will go wrong, and you’ll feel stressed, but it’s all temporary. The future is bright. Who is your role model and why? My parents will always be my biggest role models. They’ve taught me to be hardworking, compassionate, and strong. They shaped me into the person I am today. A little Q&A with Salisbury Senior Aidan Carey What is your full name? Aidan James Carey What are your hobbies? Ice hockey, playing guitar, and hanging out with my friends outdoors. Do you have any pets? I have a dog named Lilly. How would your friends describe you? Funny, outgoing, caring and adventurous What is your favorite subject? History because you can learn new perspectives on life and new strategies to approach difficult situations. Who is your favorite teacher and why? I had a few Mr. Wetherhold, Mrs Kennedy, Mr. Hahn, and other members of the staff. All teachers I have had I always felt I had good relationships with. Those listed above i've always had very interesting conversations with regarding life or learning new things in the current and past world. Mrs. Martinez also was always someone I enjoyed talking with each day as I would be in and out of school. What is your favorite Salisbury memory? One of my multiple favorite memories would be going to Mrs. Borthwick’s room to get food or to make it. Everyone who personally knows me knows how much I like to eat. What is your favorite movie?
