Julia Schmidt
What are your hobbies?
I like dancing, hanging out with friends and baking.
Do you have any pets?
I have a dog named Luka.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would describe me as kind, easygoing and hardworking.
What is your favorite subject?
I like any kind of science. Each year I have taken a science class that was completely different than the last, and I’ve enjoyed each one.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher is Ms. Cherry because I’ve had her almost every year for Spanish, and she always makes her class fun and engaging.
What is your favorite Salisbury memory?
My favorite Salisbury memory is from when I first came to the school in fifth grade. Everyone was very welcoming.
What is your favorite movie?
I don’t watch a lot of movies, so I don’t have a favorite.
Who is your role model and why?
My role model is my brother. In college he’s worked really hard, and his success has been motivating for me.
What’s next after graduation?
I will be attending the University of Pittsburgh majoring in biological sciences.

My friends would probably say I’m funny, empathetic, trustworthy, and charismatic.
What is your favorite subject?
My favorite subject is English.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher would be Miss DosSantos since she’s always been there for me. She is just very genuine & caring, she inspires me to be the best person I can for the ones I love.
What is your favorite Salisbury memory?
There’s honestly so many but my favorite one would have to be 6th grade clash day. I don’t know how I did it but I had worn two different jeans at the same time & I would never forget my friends having to help me pull them off for gym.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie would have to be the Spongebob Movie since I know it like the back of my hand.
Are you involved in any community service projects?
I was in NHS so we have many different community service projects, I loved helping out during the blood drive & seeing familiar faces donating.
Who is your role model and why?
My role model would definitely be my mom. It's crazy to see where she came from to where she's at now in life; she’s inspires me to persevere through all of life’s challenges.
What’s next after graduation?
I’m going to Temple University baby!!!! #owls

Straightforward and out-going
What is your favorite subject?
Computer Science Principles with Mrs. Wetherhold was my favorite class I took at Salisbury. I was sad when the computer science A class didn’t run this year since it was my only chance to take it.
Who is your favorite teacher and why?
Mr. Wetherhold, he concentrates on individualizing our voices in writing, confronts conventional thoughts, and connects our learning to current events and pop-culture.
What is your favorite Salisbury memory?
Running the Olympic Village at Special Olympics with Salisbury’s Key Club.
What is your favorite movie?
I don’t watch too many movies but I like the Netflix show The Haunting of Hill House.
Are you involved in any community service projects?
I volunteer with Key Club and NHS and I frequently volunteer as part of LCTI’s Emerging Health Program.
Who is your role model and why?
My dad because of how hard he works and how he always does what he thinks is right.
What’s next after graduation?
I will attend Cedar Crest College, major in nursing and minor in psychology. I would then like to become a nurse practitioner.
