The school psychologist engages in psychological and educational evaluation, teacher consultation, crisis intervention, determining eligibility for special educational programming, and counseling in situations where student's social and emotional difficulties are negatively affecting their academic and school performance. The school psychologist also works with the Comprehensive Support Team in determining appropriate and effective strategies and interventions for struggling students.
