PENNSYLVANIA CAREER GUIDE

For decades, the Pennsylvania Career Guide has been a valuable resource for students and job seekers alike. Information in the guide is geared to helping individuals prepare for continuing education and/or entering the workforce.

Within the guide, the Occupational Data Bank contains employment, wage, and job outlook data for more than 250 occupations. A brief interest assessment that aligns one’s personality to potential careers is also included to assist those who may be starting a job search or looking to change/advance their career. Other commonwealth resources to assist job seekers, such as PA CareerLink® services and apprenticeship opportunities, are also highlighted

Students will find a helpful month-by-month checklist for their senior year as well as material related to their post-graduation plans such as finding a job, entering the military or continuing on to postsecondary education. A new feature in this addition is an article on budgeting and a sample budget worksheet.
