Congratulations to our 2022-23 Student Lighthouse Team (SLT) members! In an effort to take student empowerment to an even higher level, we encouraged interested students to submit an application for our Student Lighthouse Team for the 22-23 school year.
The SLT is a group of students representing each grade level in our school who synergize to have a positive impact on students, staff, families, and the community.
Leadership qualities of SLT members include but are not limited to:
- Dependable, reliable, and respectful.
- Complete school work on time.
- Possess a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrate exemplary conduct and citizenship in and out of school.
- Have excellent attendance (are on time with limited absences and early check-outs).
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
- May be comfortable with public speaking (some of the tasks SLT members take on require public speaking).
- Have the ability and willingness to teach and/or demonstrate the 7 Habits® to other students.
