Welcome to Salisbury Elementary School
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to Salisbury Elementary School. We are a caring community of students, parents, and staff committed to student learning and development. Our school serves approximately 500 students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Each day, our teachers and staff work with dedication to help every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our team is committed to the belief that all children can learn, and we continually strive to implement best practices in instruction. Our academic program integrates 21st Century Learning tools, including iPads, MacBooks, Apple TVs, and other educational technologies that enhance student engagement and achievement.
To support student success, our Reading Specialist and Comprehensive Support Teacher provide targeted interventions. Additionally, we offer specialized services in English as a Second Language (ESL) and special education to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
Our PTO is a vital part of the Salisbury Elementary family. Through their generous support and tireless efforts, they provide classroom volunteers, organize special events, and fundraise to make enriching programs and class trips possible.
WE LEAD BY BEING RESPONSIBLE, RESPECTFUL & SAFE
At Salisbury, we believe in developing the whole child. We implement the Second Step Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) program, which helps students build critical life skills such as empathy, emotion management, problem-solving, and responsible decision-making. These skills empower our students to become thoughtful leaders and collaborative learners.
Our student leadership efforts continue through the Student Leadership Team, which provides opportunities for students to take initiative, contribute to schoolwide decisions, and represent Salisbury in the community. This aligns with our commitment to nurturing each child’s voice and potential.
Together, we look forward to partnering with you in creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where every student can thrive.
Warmly,
Zachary P. Brem, Principal
