Welcome to Salisbury Elementary School

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to Salisbury Elementary School. We are a caring community of students, parents, and staff committed to student learning and development. Our school is comprised of approximately 500 students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Our teachers and staff work each day to help our students grow and learn.

Our dedicated staff continually seeks to employ best practices in learning. We are committed to the belief that all children can learn. Our instructional program includes the use of Ipads, Macbooks, Apple TVs, and other technologies as we embrace 21st Century Learning.

To support our learning process, our Reading Specialist and Comprehensive Support Teacher provide intervention services for our students. We also support our students with ESL and special education services.

Our PTO is a vital part of the Salisbury Elementary family. The PTO provides volunteers to work in the classrooms and support special events. Their fundraising efforts make possible special programs and class trips.

WE LEAD BY BEING RESPONSIBLE, RESPECTFUL & SAFE

As students lead and work together, they will be discovering the leader within themselves. This theme is reflected on our PTO sponsored t-shirts.

Students will be busy learning the 7 Habits of Highly Successful People. This initiative, The Leader in Me, will help our children find their strengths and potential as we share the common language of the Seven Habits. We will be on a journey with our children as we help them discover their strengths and talents - the leader in each of them. Below is a summary of the 7 Habits that will help each child develop his or her potential.
