Hello, my name is Zachary Brem and I am honored to be the principal of Salisbury Elementary.  I achieved my dream of becoming an educator by graduating from East Stroudsburg University, then earning a Master of Educational Leadership and my principal certification from Wilkes University while I was a special education teacher at Washington Elementary School, in the Allentown School District .  Prior to becoming the building principal at Salisbury Elementary, I was the Assistant Principal at Union Terrace Elementary School which is also part of the Allentown School District.

I am excited to be the assistant principal at Salisbury Elementary School. I was previously the assistant principal at Salisbury High School since 2015 before transferring to SES during the 2021-2022 school year. Prior to coming to Salisbury Township School District, I taught elementary and middle school in the Northampton Area School District since 2004.

Before becoming an educator, I was a juvenile probation officer in Lehigh County for 17 years. I earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice/sociology from Moravian College, a master’s degree in elementary education from Cedar Crest College, and principal certification from Cabrini College.

I am looking forward to being part of your child’s successful educational journey.
