Zachary Brem, Principal

Welcome! My name is Zachary Brem, and I am proud to serve as the principal of Salisbury Elementary School. I began my journey in education at East Stroudsburg University, where I earned my degree in education. While working as a special education teacher at Washington Elementary School in the Allentown School District, I completed my Master’s in Educational Leadership and obtained my Principal Certification through Wilkes University.

Before joining Salisbury Elementary, I served as Assistant Principal at Union Terrace Elementary School, also in the Allentown School District. These experiences shaped my belief in the importance of inclusive practices, strong relationships, and a collaborative school culture.

At Salisbury Elementary, our team is committed to supporting every child academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to working together to make this school year one filled with growth, joy, and success for your child.

Brian Muschlitz, Assistant Principal

Welcome to Salisbury Elementary School.  My name is Brian Muschlitz and I have been the assistant principal at Salisbury Elementary School since the 2021-2022 school year. I was previously the assistant principal at Salisbury High School from 2015-2021. Before coming to Salisbury Township School District, I taught elementary and middle school in the Northampton Area School District for eleven years.

I took a non-traditional path to becoming an educator. I graduated from Moravian College with a degree in criminal justice and sociology.  I worked for over seventeen years as a juvenile probation officer in Lehigh County, and as a substance abuse counselor.  These experiences motivated me to become an educator and completed my Master’s degree in elementary education at Cedar Crest College, and then obtained my Principal Certification at Cabrini College.

I look forward to being a part of your child’s successful educational journey.
