Hello Salisbury Middle,
We can’t wait to welcome all of our students back to school on Tuesday, August 30th! Our facilities crew worked hard to make our building and classrooms look great, our administrative assistants have ordered and disseminated all classroom supplies, schedules are complete, the classrooms are decorated, and our teachers worked hard to prepare for students' arrival to kick off another great school year!!!
Please keep the following information in mind as we begin the year:
- Students will be issued their devices on Wednesday, August 31st.
- Students are to come to school prepared with their MacBooks charged every day.
- Macbook care and maintenance reminders: If you are experiencing an issue with your device, please read through the Technology Troubleshooting Tips first. If you need more help, please schedule a time with one of our techs in the building. More information can be found on our website page. In addition, please review the student responsibilities site to stay informed regarding ways to safeguard your Macbook and avoid possible payment for damages and/or repairs.
- All students must be in their homeroom by 7:45 AM. Doors open at SMS at 7:38 AM - students will enter the building at their designated entry points.
- Please follow the proper traffic patterns during parent drop-off and pick-up on campus. It is important that drivers are traveling at a safe rate of speed and are vigilant of other students, including drivers. You will be asked to pull forward as far as possible in line, and when your vehicle comes to a complete stop along the curb, students should exit the vehicle. In order to not back-up traffic, please adhere to the drop-off and pick-up procedures as outlined in our student handbook.
- Breakfast and lunch are no longer free to all students. ($1.90 for Breakfast and $3.25 for Lunch) If you are in need of free and/or reduced lunch information, please visit this website.
- Open House: Thursday, September 29th at 6:45 PM - All parents/guardians are welcome!
