The mission of the library media program is to facilitate development of students and staff as effective users of ideas and information and to foster a life-long habit of reading and learning.
All efforts will support the Salisbury Township School District mission to:
Inspire...Think, Learn, Grow...Together!
Mrs. Barbara Jaindl, Library Media Teacher
Mrs. Mia Bartel, Instructional Assistant
Mrs. Donna Besz, Instructional Assistant
The Salisbury Middle School Library is open at the following times:
Mondays / Wednesdays / Fridays 7:35 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Tuesdays / Thursdays 7:35 a.m. - 12:30 p.m
Mrs. Jaindl, Library Media Teacher, is in the building on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The library is open for students and staff to visit to select resources or work on independent or small group projects. Classes from all grade levels and content areas may visit the library for research, collaboration, and resource selection.
Students may check out books or media for 2 weeks and may renew items twice--unless an item is on hold. A total of four items may be checked out at one time.
We do not charge fines for late books; however, any student who owes books for more than six weeks may lose their library privileges.
If a student loses or damages library materials, the student must pay for the those materials so that they may be replaced. This includes water-damaged books.
With their Destiny username and password students have access to Webpage Express and One Search. Webpage Express will ensure that students' searches for research topics will yield results from quality websites. One Search will allow searches that will provide direct access to our subscription resources.
