Mr. Parliman - Principal
Mr. Parliman began his teaching career after graduating from Moravian College. He worked as an math teacher, math coach and administrator at Francis D. Raub Middle School prior to joining Salisbury Middle School. Mr. Parliman worked as an assistant principal and principal at Salisbury Middle School since 2008.
Mr. Parliman works hard to create a culture that is caring, empathetic and compassionate, while helping all students succeed academically, emotionally, and socially. He wants to make Salisbury Middle School a place where students want to come, parents want to send their children, and teachers want to work.
Mr. Sawicki - Assistant Principal
Mr. Sawicki began his teaching career after graduating from East Stroudsburg University in 2000. He then received his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from East Stroudsburg University. Prior to becoming the assistant principal of Salisbury Middle School in 2015, Mr. Sawicki was the 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher at Salisbury Middle School. Before teaching at Salisbury Middle School, he was a classroom teacher in the Pocono Mountain School District, East Stroudsburg Area School District, Union County Public Schools (NC), Bethlehem Area School District and the East Penn School District.
Being a teacher and now an administrator at Salisbury Middle School has had a significant impact on Mr. Sawicki's life. He currently serves the students, staff, parents, and community of Salisbury Township in the hopes of creating memorable and rewarding experiences for everyone at the middle school. Mr. Sawicki is a very visible principal who tries to get to know all of his students. Additionally, Mr. Sawicki strives to inspire, engage, and encourage students to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom!
