Last week we launched our new mobile app as part of our replacement for School Messenger. If you did not receive this message you can access it here. Today I would like to introduce you to another component of our new communication platform, the Apptegy Alert system.
The Apptegy Alert system will be our new alert system, replacing School Messenger for phone, text, email, and app push notification alerts. The new system will provide parents and guardians an enhanced ability to control the phone numbers and email addresses inthe Used for Notification Contact that can be edited in the parent account of the Community Portal.

A series of three tests of the Apptegy Alert system will be conducted on September 18, 23 and 26. These tests will provide you with multiple opportunities to update your contact information in the community portal prior to the official launch on September 30.
